Left a bit disappointed

This was my fourth trip to the Strip Club Nirvana, and maybe my expectations are a bit high, but I left a bit disappointed. I arrived on a Tuesday late afternoon after a long day of driving and sales calls. I used the valet for the first time, no issue with that at all. There was no cover, so in I went. The place was very smoky, a combination of tobacco and weed. The smoke in general and the drug presence is a big negative to me. The tall chairs and the sofas were very full, so I sat at the bar. I ordered a drink, $8, not bad. I had a constant parade of dancers, and got many dances. I will say that I think the dancers are not as good looking as I expected, that is not really a negative to me as they were certainly above the acceptable level, but I seem to remember hotter dancers. I think I got 6 - 8 dances before I met the one that I wanted to go to the famous VIP with. She was thin, brunette, acting a bit flirty and drunk, and I fell for it. We agreed on the standard cost, $100 to her, $52 to the house and I was very explicit as to my expectations. I don't remember her exact words, but I was sure she promised and agreed to what I wanted which was standard fare for Follies from what I read.

We first paid the VIP fee to some guy in a suit, I assume the manager? and entered. We were getting comfortable for a song and a bouncer steps in and asks for $15 more. I still am not sure what this was, I assume a tip, but I paid and we began. The dancer then asked for her portion. At this time I am already into this $67 and I am thinking with the wrong head, so I agree. I did not follow Papi's # 1 rule, never pay in advance. Well, she takes the money and then tells me that I am only getting a dance. I told her that she agreed to my request and she told me that I must have misunderstood. I am really disappointed, but she did continue to dance and then pulled Jr out and gave a decent HJ. That is clearly not what our deal was, but I figured I might as well make the best of it.

In summary, I got back to my hotel smelling of cigarettes and weed and mad at myself for getting taken. I read multiple reviews a week of people that go to Follies and have a great experience for the same amount I spent. I am 0 for 4, but will mostly likely go back for a 5th time.
