Improving...

I went to CF's after a fairly long time away to give it time to get better. In its hayday, this was one of the best clubs in Providence with a large 2 floor layout. Downstairs has two bars, plenty of dance cubbies, and a few private rooms and upstairs was supposedly all nude with a bar, more dance cubbies and more private areas. While the layout didn't change when I was there on Sunday, what I did notice was they close the upstairs during the afternoon. This is a great idea since in the past you had the same number of patrons / dancers spread over 2 floors versus one. This game it the immediate impression of being more crowded and improving the atmosphere. Drinks are cheap, there was no cover and on Sunday's they have 2/30 dances. While the quality of the girls is improving, it still has a way to go to catch up to Desire, Caddy, and Centerfolds in Boston. On this trip I only had a hour or so to kill so I wanted to be efficient in meeting a girl, and getting dances, knowing I didn't have time for a private room.. While I was there the circulation of the girls was pretty poor, most were with regulars or just not circulating so my plan on being efficient did not allow me to be as picky as I wanted to be. I started chatting up this Brazilian, cute but def has seen better days. Normally I prefer petite white dancers, but she was friendly. We went for the 2/30 dances and she immediately started giving me a otphj and upselling me to a private room. Said it was back to the 'glory days' (her words, not mine). Having come here in the past I knew that meant no windows in the room, no bouncers trolling, and everything was available. She was good for the standard 130 (30 to house, 100 to her) for the menu. If I had more time I would have partaken, but its good to know that CF's is coming back. So a summary for this trip, 1 hour in the club, 6 incl tip for a beer, 30 for 2 dances, and 4 on random tips. total spend $40.
