Additional observations...

I visited once again recently. As I was not in the area for business, I had a much longer window of time to sit and observe.

I arrived early on a Sunday afternoon. I had 2 hours of time to kill before catching a friend for dinner, so I headed to the Lamplighter at bar opening hoping to catch an early afternoon dance. No dancers were present in the 20 minutes I was there.

I returned later that evening around 9:00. The bar was quite busy, with many patrons watching the Nationally televised Vikings game. See my observations below:
