Welcome to the changing booths

Johnny A's would be a solid no-frills locals' bar without the gogo dancers. It's the usual NJ dollar parade, so a seat at the bar ends up costing plenty over the course of an evening.

Of note is that private dances take place in little booths at the back of the bar. The booths are tiny and any movement/adjustment during a dance is a real challenge. On the other hand, privacy is very good and rarely will you have any bouncer check on what you're up to. Pro tip: check the seat of the booth you get before dances start. Some of them are broken, and you'll spend your entire dance trying not to slide to the floor rather than enjoying yourself.

There are a few tables randomly scattered about and the food is good for a club. Definitely one of those "find the right girl" type of places. Worth a visit.
