Ugh

So my last review of this place was fine. It is what it is, no style but no pretension,either; it's a dive right off 82nd Avenue. I had had two decent visits during the fall where I experienced some high mileage private dances, so I figured I'd check it out again last week. I don't know what the hell has happened, but things have gone downhill in a hurry. The awning over the entrance I had used before appears to have collapsed, so there is caution tape surrounding that area and a hand-scribbled sign pointing to another door. A security guard gave me a pretty serious patdown upon my entry. Whatever, do what you've got to do, but it was pretty early in the evening and I'd never experienced that here before. After I walked in I noticed there was no dancer on stage, so I took a seat at the bar. A low-quality dancer sat down next to me and tried to chat me up, but I just kind of stonewalled her. Unfortunately, she said the bartender was in back cooking up some food. After five minutes of waiting for service and trying to figure out if any decent-looking dancers were working, I just said fuck it and walked out. Not sure if this is a typical evening there now or what, but I've got to steer people away from this place for now.
