Weekday Evening Visits, Bring Warm Grins

You have so many choices in the Portland area, so why would you choose Stars? Well, they're friendly, talkative, nude and pretty chill. I've been here a few times during the week, and there's always a variety of girls. All Caucasian, and all shaven, but nice to look at all the same. The pole talent is surprisingly good for a weeknight, and there's plenty of time to, without pressure, to talk any one up. You'll see many out-of-towners along with a few regulars. Week nights before and after 12 provide at least six or more dancers. A shift change happens near 12, so you can stick around and se new talent. That's good for a few more beers and conversation.

Three things set this place apart from other area clubs. One...great parking -- safe, close and discreet enough for the most bashful of patrons. In fact you'll see many people enter alone. Two... whether summer or winter there's a very large outdoor patio for smoking and what not. There may be just as much room to saunter outside as inside. In the winter months, and on cool evenings a comfortable couch seating are around a gas fire pit provides a good place to hangout. The girls use this area for smoking, so if you want some extra time to chat one of them up, its a good place to sit and get ready. Three...it's Oregon so there beer selection is decent. There's at least eight local beers on tap. I've had one beer with a bad line once, but the was rare, and the bartendress was only to ager to replace the beer with another fresher variety. I know they change out the beer line's often, so you'll probably not have a bad experience.

The dancers I've seen there all tend to be quite young. I've never seen anyone approaching 30, so if older women are your thing, you might go elsewhere. That fact may be a pretty good way to categorize this place...young. Not that anyone would feel unwelcome, because it is a friendly place, but because the dancers have very carefree attitude. That's pretty good too. I've never witnessed any bad behavior or management complaints, and that's something positive to say about this place. There's a good welcoming vibe at Stars. I'll probably be back, because all in al its a step above most places, with friendly people at the door, behind the bar and dancing.
