Same Stars but lower on the vibe scale

I hadn't been to Stars for quite some time and considering all the trouble they've had I'm surprised they're still around. It was a weekend night so the cover was $8 and they strap a fluorescent wrist band on you, no driver license scanning however I think the door attendant mentioned the scanner was broken. Still same old posh layout compared to other Portland area clubs it's very nice. No more lottery machines and no bathroom attendant. The girls were a mixed lot with most around a 7 or 8. They have a fenced in patio out the back door with a covered area with heat and a TV, nice space to chill or escape the loud music. I really don't know why they play the music so loud, it's hard to have a conversation with the dancers. Irritating. Overall the place hasn't changed much, the private dance booths aren't very private and the dances are $40 a pop or 3 for $100. I had one dance that was below average for P-Town, no touching and for $40 not worth it. I've had some good times at this place in the past but this night was not one of them and I took my money and headed east for DV8 which was a much better vibe.
