Some good, some bad.

On a whim I decided to drop by on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago. Haven't been in since they did the renovations. Started off on the wrong foot as the cover was $25 because of some party they were having. When I got in the club, I was pleasantly surprised by the lay out and renovation. A nice size bar is at the entrance as soon as you come in. The stage is to the left with the booths and tables going around the stage. Was also pleasantly surprised with the selection of dancers. Probably about 15 girls ranging from 6-9. Also had a nice mix. From what I remember, Trumps was a mostly white club. This night you had all colors of the rainbow represented.

After a couple of beers at the bar, an old friend took me for a tour upstairs. They have another bar and sitting area upstairs over looking the main floor. No one was up here so me and my friend sat for a while catching up with a few drinks. Was kind of nice to be able to get away for a second from the busy downstairs. No cover to get upstairs. We finally decide to go in the VIP, which is now the most disappointing part of the club. It is now just an open area with about 5 chairs in a large room. Got a few dances, but there were about 3 other couples in the room at the same time. Kind of a mood killer.

Still had a good time, but the open VIP is not a good thing.
