I had a few hours to kill before going to see Star Wars, so I stopped in for a little eye candy. I had no intention of getting any dances this night because I did not want to have to sit through the movie smelling like sex and shame.
The club hasn't changed in appearance since my last review, in fact, it hasn't changed in appearance in the 10+ years I've been visiting the club. But that's OK. I'm not there to admire the modern furniture or appreciate the choice in carpet color. The chairs are comfortable, there is plenty of room to sit - what else can you want?
For those who haven't been, the club is split in two two rooms, the main room which is quite large, and a much smaller VIP room. As you enter, the club, you find yourself at the bar where you pay the $10 cover, receive your first (non-alcoholic) drink, and get a receipt good for one more free drink. I believe additional drinks are $5, though it's been years since the waitresses have harassed me about having a full drink in front of me, so I never have bought a 3rd drink. The bar occupies one short side of the large rectangle that is the main room. A large Y-Shaped stage is to the left along one of the long sides of the room, with plenty of seats around the stage in sniffers row. There are also plenty of tables and chairs scattered throughout the entirety of the main room, some more secluded than others. The long side of the room to the right of the bar has hightops and stools where dancers generally sit and scope the room. there are two different sections on the perimeter of the room that have rows of couches that are used for the $20 dances. These tend to be located in the least-walked areas of the club, though they do not offer any real privacy apart from the lack of light.
