Too slow to get a good review

I think I just chose a bad night. It was raining and late on a Tuesday. Walked in the club and I will admit, it was nicer than I expected. I remember the old Doll House and it was a hole. This one is nice and clean and simple in the decor. There were about seven dancers in the club. Almost all of them sitting around the room playing on their phones. About four customers that looked like they zoned out long before they arrived. Sitting and staring at nothing. It did not take long to see this was not going to be an exciting night. It was just slow and everyone had pretty much given up on the evening.

As I sat at the bar to get my water, one of the dancers quickly came up to greet me. She was the type that would normally talk to right off the bat, but after a quick look around the room, I could do much worse. I figured I better stay with what I had. As it turned out, she ended up being very sweet. A very young brunette, skinny, but not drugged out. We had a nice conversation. She mentioned a dance, and I wanted to see the stage show for a bit longer, but she said they might close early because things were dead. So, I got my dance, it was a bit mechanical, but effective. Overall, the night was okay. Nothing to get excited about, but enough to maybe give them another try.
