First off, you can get free or discounted entry normally just by walking up and down the block (i've been told that they generally don't give it to individuals and just groups).

The actual club is nice enough, but everytime I've gone there have been too few women working and the quality level was lower than I'd expect given a Times square location.

Never been to vip there so can't comment but dances are done out in the open (basically wherever you are sitting), which in a business setting is weird in my opinion for most clients.
