Dead At The Pen

I hadn't been to the Playpen in awhile so I thought I'd go there and check it out as a birthday treat.Sadly, I think its best days have came and went. There was absolutely no one in there when I came a little after 3. Only Jody the barmaid was there. Actually Jody is a really nice lady with nice blonde hair, and she has a great, friendly personality. So I had a beer, then told her I'd be back to see if any girls came in. I went to a nearby establishment and came back to the Playpen at about 6. But to be fair the weather was snowy and cold this day and sure enough, no dancers had yet to arrive. So Jody and I chatted for a while, then offered to do dances herself! There was no else there and business was non-existent so I agreed. Turns out she used to be a dancer years ago and told me that this would be her first time dancing in quite some time. For a rusty dancer, Jody did very good. No real grindage but she stayed very close to me. Tipped her $50 for 3 dances. Then later as a treat for my birthday she cooked a pizza and we ate together (yeah, that's how slow it was). I had a nice time being with Jody. She's there tending bar Monday through Wednesday. I'll see her again; just hope business picks up soon.
