a mixed experience depended on each girl's personality.

Well the club is located in a bit sketchy part of town, however to it's credit a few more prominent strip clubs are only a few miles away, the other ones are more clustered together, whereas Ybor Scarlett's is more of a stand alone adjacent the railroad tracks. The parking lot is clean and well maintained, but somewhat of a tight squeeze if you drive a larger SUV such as I do, there was a person who actually waved at me so I presume he was an employee standing in the middle of the parking lot, and I assume he was standing guard to deflect any drifters or troublemakers. as you walk in the door, you are immediately taken back by the hokey food snack bin behind the register selling candy and nuts. there is also a flat screen tv playing random screen shots of adult movies, on the inside entrance, I guess to entice your mood. after you pay the $10 cover charge you are told there is a one drink minimum and no alcohol. there is a tip jar set up on the desk of where the entrance fee is collected, so right off the bat your pockets tend to get loosened. as you enter you have to walk through a set of curtains, and immediately you see various pull out chairs and roundtables, there cozy but a bit worn out. the layout is more or less, get's the job done, but for whatever reason the décor is garish, odd mix of colors and fabrics on the wall and the furniture. there is a live DJ and on the night I went was playing a mix of older hip hop and classic rock n roll songs alongwith some ear splitting music if you could call it then, immediately you are approached by a cocktail waitress who asks you what you would like to drink, more or less, a soda, a coffee or water. now on to the girls on the floor,

I was approached by a ebony girl who appeared in her 20's and her body type was thick in the rear and weight was proportionate to her height. right off the bat, she introduced herself and asked I wanted to go to the backroom and "play with her". she was wearing a outfit that wasn't really doing it for me, it just seemed like something was put together, I of course barely got seated, so it wasn't my thing to get up and get a VIP dance in a New York minute. so I politely declined, it couldn't have been even 30 seconds and another one appeared from behind me, put her hands over my shoulders, and said "c'mon baby, let's go in the back, there's nothing really else going on here" this particular dancer was a blonde, but a bit on the plus side when it came to her weight, and shoulder length hair, her breasts were not real, I could feel and tell by her pressing up to me, at that point I started to get irritated by the strong "come ons" when I had not even had a chance to get adjusted into the lounge chair. once again, I declined and she just walked away mumbling something I did not catch, at that point I was finally left alone to enjoy whomever was on stage, and what happens? the girl on stage is very reluctant to take anything off! this was suppose to be a full nude club! we had a DJ egging people on to tip the girl, but she wasn't getting naked, so why should a patron need to tip? she was another ebony girl. it seems like of the 6 or so girls I saw working that night (although DJ mentioned "more in the back") only 2 were white, and the others were African American or Hispanic. I found the girls on hand modestly attractive, it seemed all of them had many tattoos and could lose some weight. only 1 appeared slender and concerned about her shape. I was about to throw in the towel and leave after about staying for 1 hour, when a ebony dancer approached me yet again, and there just not my type, but she had a good personality was saying I didn't have to dance I could just talk because she was bored. I told her, I was on my way out, because I am bored tonight as well. but I did go on a Sunday evening, so you really can't expect it to be hopping like a Friday or Saturday night, maybe I will return on the weekend sometime and see it from another side.
