Talk of the Town is a great little place that seems to be hiding in plain site. It's right on Las Vegas Blvd between the strip and Fremont and has a huge neon sign outside, but thats not enough to draw anyone's attention in Vegas. The high end clubs advertise endlessly on billboards and have people hanging outside of casinos offering free limousines, etc. Talk of the Town is a single stage tucked away in the back of an adult bookstore for locals and those of us that care enough to do our homework. It's been my favorite spot in Vegas for years.

Talk of the Town has changed a little since my last visit. Prices are mostly the same ($20 to get in after 8, $10 chair dances on the floor, and $100 for three songs in VIP) but they've taken out a number of the chairs against the back walls to put in 'lapdance only' couch seating for $20 a song. The $10 chair dances are still a deal, but I think mileage has been reduced a bit to up-sell to the couches. The limited chairs were really only a problem because it was unusually busy the night I was there. One of the girls offered me a show in the shower room, which as she described it sounded more like a peepshow where you watch each other separated by a glass window. I decided to go for a spin in one of three VIP rooms instead.

It goes without saying that you need to choose wisely who you go VIP with. I usually do some $10 test dances on the floor before deciding. If you go VIP you'll be expected to pay in advance for either 3 songs ($100) or a half hour ($200). The rooms are only somewhat private with a thin sheer curtain separating you from anyone that walks in or out of the club. We actually had another dancer walk in on us accidentally during the 1st song, but that didn't stop us from having our fun.
