December Visit

Stopped here on a Monday in the middle of December while in the area for business. The sign on the building said "The Vue" instead of Calendar Girls so apparently it is in the process of getting some kind of makeover. The night I was here turned out to be their Christmas party. There was a mixture of both men and women in the club. I settled in at the bar and ordered a drink to watch the happenings. I'm not sure if it was assorted couples or off shift dancers and their boyfriends as lots of people kept moving around the laps at the next table.

There were around 8-9 dancers.......all looked decent but I just couldn't quite figure out the vibe to this place. As there was a decent sized crowd in the place that night, I did not get approached until just before I decided to call it a night. The dancer I spoke with said she normally worked days but was here due to the party. Also said her sister danced there too. Said private dances were $80......I didn't ask for the details as I was heading out. There was a light cloud of smoke in the air.....so you will reek when you leave.

I will give this club another shot when I am in the area again.......I think it could be an okay place to hang out once you get the lay of the land.
