Shotguns is one of the better places to go in Denver. The following are my reasons: 1.) There is virtually no hustle. You can relax in this place. If you like a dancer you can politely ask her if she does private dances and after that she'll grab you after her show. If you're not interested just relax. There is no pressure. When I first started going here I thought the girls did not want to do private dances. They do. They just don't harrass you about it. This makes for a nice easy going atmosphere where you can wind down, watch and choose at your leisure. 2.) The stage shows are excellent. I have been to clubs all over the country and have never had girls spend so much effort and attention on their stage shows. If no one else is at the stage a dancer at Shotgun's will spend the entire time in front of you showing all her moves and poses. If there are several guys there, she will spend at least one third of the song in front of you. This makes it a great place just to sit back and enjoy the shows. 3.) The girls are stunning. There are always a few new beauties every time I drop in plus the regulars. Usually there are 5-6 stages going at the same time and minimally one stage with a girl who will fit your fancy. 4.) You can get pretty decent lap dances. Although there is a rule in Denver re. "no contact" this rule seems to be pretty bendable. The girls know that the better dancing gets more business, so they keep a communal eye out for the manager and so long as he's not around they'll send a portino of each song in your lap. If the manager comes by, he usually just circles through for 10-20 seconds and then leaves. I've never had a hassle. 5.) Drink prices are decent. They dish out 25 oz. mugs of beer for $5-$7. MOst places charge you a bottle for this much. The bartender wears a cowboy hat and does a flame throwing act every once in a while.

Denver may not be the lap dance capital of the world, but if you go you'll have a great time!
