Stopped in while in D-town

I've never been to a club in Michigan so after reading some reviews I thought I'd stop into the Landing Strip. There's a mandatory valet fee to park in the lot or you can try to find street parking which doesn't seem too close. Given that I do not know Detroit too well and the rental company gave me a brand new cadillac, I thought I'd pay the valet fee and head in. Once you go in you head upstairs and pay the door fee which was $8 this night. They're door staff are very helpful and ask where you want to sit and give you some options. Booth is $20, bar is free or you can pull up a chair at the stage. I chose the bar where there were a couple girls sitting around drinking and talking. Bouncer told one of the girls to get up and gave me her seat. Not the most chivalry thing but oh well. When I sat down there was a girl sitting next to me who started chatting with me, normal convo, where you from, what do you do, blah blah. I told her I was not from Michigan and she told me "Here in Michigan clubs, anything goes" Interesting info for two minutes in the door. The stage takes up just about the entire middle of the room which is not incredibly large. There were at least 4 girls dancing on the stage at once with a continued group behind them. There were 4 poles on the stage where the girls would move from one to the next until they were off the stage and free to move around. I only stayed for one beer but I grabbed a dance from one girl who was a 7-8. The dances are down stairs where they have another bouncer in which you tell him you want a dance and he brings you to one of what I saw 4 closed cubicles that go up the ceiling with a curtain door. The dance was pretty good, extras were offered but I told her I'd stay with the dance. Overall not bad, not great. The girls ranged from 4's to a few 8's, no one that jumped out as a a certified 10 or even 9 1/2. I may go back or just try something else when back in the area.
