Went to Houston for a hobbyist's...

Went to Houston for a hobbyist's trip recently. Bought the flight, hotel, and rental car all on Expedia at 3 pm on Friday afternoon, was at the airport by 6:30. Last-minute for the fun of it. There were problems with the flight and other things, so I didn't get to the hotel until near midnight, and therefore wasn't able to really enjoy my Friday night the way I'd wanted to. I ended up, by dumb luck, staying in stripper central, the Best Western "Fountainview" on Richmond. I guess my Mapquest skills have some kind of instinctive homing device! I highly recommend this hotel -- good price, lots of late-night lobby traffic for your viewing and mongering pleasure, plus a free (pretty good) continental breakfast and a little internet room, which was never occupied except by me. That allowed me to look up things on TUSCL that I'd forgotten. Legends was a quick walk away, so on my first evening I managed to check things out there. The cover -- $20 -- was ridiculous for the level of chicks they offered. Their valet parking dudes were rude as hell, too, although I was just walking in so I guess they knew they didn't have to be nice. I basically paid my cover, went in, looked around, acted polite, and got out. That's all I have to say for Legends. It's not really up to Tampa standards, not even Memphis. From there I went on to Centerfolds, also a quick walk from my hotel on Richmond. My trip also included Treasures on Saturday. I am rating Legends relative to the places I've been in Houston, New Orleans, Jackson, Memphis, but also Tampa, Toronto, New York City, New Jersey, Montreal, Miami / West Palm. Overall it deserves its low average, in my opinion.
