new owners, new review
Lots of changes since the last review. Half the bar has been removed and chairs are now right up next to stage. The other half of the bar is still there so you don't have to sit stage side. There weren't as many dancers as the past few visits and they are now required to complete a set before coming around for tips. I don't know if they are limited to how many times they can hit a customer for a hit but the tip parade was non-existent. And they did a little show before requesting a tip. Previously, many would just stand in front of the customer and expect a tip. Then they would be back in a minute or two for another. No one hit me more than twice per set and most were once. The dancer quality has improved. Some of the same are still there but many of the older less fit ones I expect to see on a weekday were not.
they are clearly in the process of renovating the club and it shows. It actually looks worse than it did but I can see what they are trying to do and if they finish, it will be quite nice. Hopefully they can do something about the arctic blast that rushes in every time the door is opened, double doors or an air curtain perhaps.
Service was very prompt. i often had to wait for my drink but the bartender was there as soon as I sat down.
Hopefully things continue to improve. But even if not, it is already better.
