Happy Hr on Wed

Was staying in Tampa on Westshore Blvd so decided to check out the 2 clubs nearby on the street. Went to Thee Dollhouse last Wednesday for happy hour at 6:30pm. Walked over from my hotel so did not use the mandatory valet and there was no cover at that hour.

Club was medium size, upscale w/ nice décor and furniture. Place was dead and I was surprised it was even open. There was a DJ playing and only the bar area and small stage by the bar was lit (the large main stage and the main seating area were close). Club allows smoking so for me not pleasant.

This is a pastie club and the dancers wear cocktail dresses while on the floor. There were only 3 dancers there: two were 8-9 (on 10pt scale) and the third was a 7. There were only 5 customers at the bar. The dancers were already sitting w/ the customers and only one went on stage (for 1 song) while I was there. Was very disappointed w/ the situation but I guess it was a bad time to go. Got a MillerLt for $5 and a 2nd beer free for their 2-4-1 drink special. Then left after finishing my drinks. May go back sometime in the future later at night. Bartender told me place doesn’t get busy until midnight on weekdays.
