Lunch on Wed Afternoon

Was in staying in Tampa on Westshore Blvd so decided to check out the 2 clubs on that street. Went to the Penthouse Club last Wednesday for lunch at 12:30pm. Walked over from my hotel but did not see any valet. There was also no cover at that hour.

Club was small size (not counting the “steakhouse” dining area as the view of the stage from there is not good), upscale w/ nice décor and furniture. There was a DJ playing and the medium-sized main stage was open. Only saw the bartender and a manager as the staff. Club was non-smoking and they have a smoking area out back.

This is a pastie club and the dancers went on stage for 3 songs. Dancers were fairly active on stage, but unfortunately they were not very attractive. There were 9 dancers there: two were 6-7 (on 10pt scale) and the rest were 5 or below. There were about a dozen customers there, most sitting at the bar. They have a free lunch menu, so got a burger w/ chips from that. It was ok for bar food (but disappointing for a steakhouse). Got a MillerLt for $5 and a 2nd beer free for their 2-4-1 drink special. Then left after finishing my drinks. Probably won’t be back.
