Great club with good atmosphere and friendly girls.

I decided to try this club out for the first time last Tuesday after several years of seeing a billboard for it every time I travel down I-90 (I travel regularly for work and school). The club was very easy to find, being nearly straight across from the eastbound exit - the only difficulty was that the sign on the club's roof is a bit small and hard to read from a distance, at least during daylight - it was easier to see at night due to the back-lighting. When entering the club, you see the bar are to your right and the dance area just beyond. The furnishings and atmosphere are quite nice and rather upscale and the bar itself is large and curved with a stone surface. The pool tables across from the bar appeared to be in good repair, though I did not try them out myself. The seating around the pit was comfortable enough with booth type seating along the walls of the room and tables set up in front of them. The two more hidden corners, meaning not visible from the bar area are used for private lap dances and there are two private dance rooms that I did not have time to visit. The club is non-smoking but does have a smoking room that is sort of inside but not really though since it isn't well insulated against Missoula's winter temperatures. It mostly exists to allow the dancers to smoke while on shift due to a law about dancers not exiting the building on shift.

The dancers at Fred's were quite friendly and willing to chat, they are quite skilled at dancing as well. As a competitive ballroom dancer and teacher, I have often found myself in the unfortunate position of not being able to fully enjoy clubs due to sub-par dancing but not here. The dancers here all gave the appearance of having prior dance training and were very agile and flexible and their movements were fluid and graceful, also every one of them knew how to dance on the pole rather well and not just around it. During their dances they would come over and converse with the patrons around the pit while dancing and when not dancing they would be out socializing with patrons. The lap dances in the main club area (I can't say as to the private rooms as I did not have one of those - I wanted to try several different girls rather than a longer session with one girl) are $20 per song and are topless. The dancer will undress before the song starts giving you the full song as a topless dance and the songs are not sped up nor cut. The dances are very erotic depending on the dancer's discretion, I recommend chatting her up respectfully and being clean as that will encourage her to give you the most erotic experience. The club does have a no touching the girls policy but that doesn't exclude the dancers from touching you and the dances can include the dancer grinding on you and rubbing her breasts all over you, again at her discretion.

I will note that the website for the club is terribly out of date, the only real useful information on it is the phone number and address. The specials listed no longer exist and the formatting doesn't appear to have been updated since the nineties.
