The Sands is 10 minutes from the nearest freeway. Not really convenient. And its independent. Which is rare for Seattle. Most clubs are Deja Vu or Dreamgirls related. Indies such as Pandora and Sands tend to have better service. Parking and the entrance are in back. Girls smoking by the door. Not worried about that 15 foot no smoking rule. Not the only rule they ignore.

Enter, walk past grungy bathrooms to the bar. No cover, but mandatory $10 soda. One stage, no rail, maybe 20 small tables with two chairs each. Usually only one or two patrons per. Usually no dancer on stage either. They sell VIP in back.

In back is still just one large room with bench seating. No door, so the bouncer can see in. No real privacy except due to darkness.
