Decided to check this place out while in JAX for a couple of days of work. It was a Tuesday night, so as expected things looked slow when I pulled into the parking lot—maybe a dozen cars total. I noticed a truck with a Wackos sign parked around back. There was no search to get in as others have mentioned. Cover charge was $5. The doorman was black and looking around I saw only a handful of dancers, all AA, so I was beginning to wonder if this was a black club, but then I noticed a white guy sitting at the bar. After going in a I got a better view and saw there were probably only a half-dozen or so customers total, some black, a few white, and a couple of guys who looked like Asian gang members. A little later a group of three or four white guys came in and a few more AA customers, so it is definitely a mixed ethnicity place. The physical club itself was kind of small but nice; not a dive, but not upscale either, just a typical middle class strip club. The stage is immediately to the left as you go in, across from that is the bar. Beer was $5. Sitting at the bar, I got a better look at the dancers and counted a total of five. Two were white, and the other three looked either black or dark skinned Latina. I would rate them at 5 or 6. The best looking girl in there was probably the shot girl, followed by the bartender, even though she had a little age on her. I sat at the bar drinking my beer for a while. I was approached by one of the dancers, an AA spinner. She chatted me up for a while, but I wasn’t interested and was relieved when she got called to the stage. While she was on stage, I noticed a new girl come in and change into stripper attire. She was a very pretty Latina, although she was tatted up pretty good, but they were nice quality tattoos, not some jailhouse shit. She came over to talk to me and we chatted for a while. She was pleasant to talk to, so I bought her a drink. She confirmed that this club had the same owner as Wackos. The atmosphere here is a lot different from Wackos. For one thing, they are both bikini clubs, but at Wackos most of the girls go topless on stage, but not here. She also said she didn’t want to work at Wackos because of all the “stuff” that goes on there. Well, I like Wackos because of all the stuff that goes on there. She also said the place gets pretty crowded on the weekend, but the current small crowd was typical of a weekday (as opposed to Wackos which seems pretty busy all the time). She chatted for about a half-hour and never asked for a dance. I didn’t inquire either as I wasn’t really interested, just stopped in to check the place out. Except for the Latina I talked to, I was not impressed with the quality or quantity of the girls here, and won’t go back. It may be better on a weekend when I am told there crowd is much bigger, but most of my strip clubbing is done on weekdays while I am traveling for work, so I guess I will never find out.
