I live in the area and have been to the Paper Moon a few times (right up the street), which is a nicer, posher club, has limos out front, bouncers, doormen, cover charge, etc. I finally went to 1320 just to check it out, expecting to turn around and leave, surprisingly this club grows on you. The club is very small (intimate), there is no cover charge, no one checking ID, no bouncers. Just a bartender, may 1-2 waitresses, and about 5-8 dancers. This is as no frills as it gets for a strip club. So, i walk in and there are some girls dancing on the stage, nothing to write home about, but I sit down and order a drink. A coke is $5.50, so I figure I'll just hang out and chill, everything else aside. I decide even if the dancers are not going to blow anyone away, i'm seeing girls dancing on a bar for my $5.50 investment. However, to my surprise, the next couple of girls come out and they are like 6-7, maybe bumping up against an 8, then I start thinking this is getting pretty good. The girls come over and actually sit and talk with you and don't hustle you for drinks, just sit, obviously you will buy them a drink, but there's none of that "Would you like to buy me a drink", at least I did not experience that. Anyway, we sit and talk for a while and I do buy her a drink (which was also only $5-6), and after talking for a little while, I ask how lap dances work in this place, she tells me that they are $20 and topless (VA laws require pasties), but i'm in, so we walk to the dance area (also very small, not private) and she sits and talks while a new song starts, once a new one kicks in, the top is off and she is grinding me pretty good. She was very open to letting my hands roam everywhere except the cooch. So, I'm really enjoying this dance and my hands are getting the full experience of her supple boobs. I got 3 dances from her, I think her name was Tiara or Tammy, regardless, it was a great experience. This is definitely your typical upscale strip club, but the prices for drinks, no cover, and friendly dancers goes a long way for me and I can overlook the shortcomings. This is not a club to go out of your way to make a trip for, but perfect if you are a local, looking to hang out. I don't think i've ever left a strip bar without spending $200-$300 minimum, but this was a sub $85 night for 2 hours, 3 dances, and 3 drinks.
