A solid DC 7. Recently stopped in on a Tuesday dayshift after being very disapointed across the street at JP's. GoodGuys has managed to keep a decent group of dancers pretty consistently for the last year. This is something to admire given the decline in talent at most of the other DC clubs. One factor seems to be occasional "amateur" dance contests with a $1000 first prize. I haven't been to one yet, but I hear they are popular and usually result in 3 or 4 new dancers every few months. Overall I am not as crazy about the atmosphere here, it is tables packed together like a cafeteria in a long hallway with 3 stages against the opposite wall (some tables between the stages too). They do manage to maintain a fairly "up" atmosphere, even on some of the slow days. The dancers average about a 7, but you can count on 2 or 3 who will be significantly worse, as well as the occasional 9. Night shifts tend to have the better girls, but day shifts maintain good quality. Service is pretty good and the $1 still buys a decent show. Most dancers are willing to keep you company for the price of a drink. Later at night it can get very crowded and roudy, so consider that when planning a trip. I like to go around 4PM and leave by 8 before things get too crowded. You also get to see both the day and night dancers around this time. Good place to unwind after work with a few beers and some naked girls, but if you're looking for more you probably need to go outside DC.
