Slow afternoon
OK, had not been in this place since the old days when it was the Marquee Lounge. New owners spent some money fixing up the interior of the place. Nothing really out of the ordinary. Looks like most of the 7th Street dives. Vodka was $5 for a decent sized pour. Bartender was only girl in the place. She was a 40ish blonde, short hair, chunky. Dressed like she was probably also a dancer. Chatted for a minute, then she came around the bar and told me to rub her ass. Then the hard sell started as she began pushing for a drink or a private dance. Said if we went in the back I could have a lot of fun, promised me a great dance and said she was too old to lie about it. Then a guy comes in off the street, asks about my car and wants to buy it (it is nothing special). Made me a little nervous, so I passed on the hard sell and took off. I think she might be fun for a private dance.
