Week night visit at Babes

I stopped by Babes for a visit on a Wednesday evening mid December around 8:00 pm. Upon entering there was no girls on the stage, just music playing and about 5 girls dressed and more entering preparing for their shift. Parking was free the night I went and the cover charge was 5 bucks. My Miller Lite was 3 bucks which is not bad for any club. About mid way through the time that I finished my beer a tall slender mixed dancer came to sit with me. Her name was B and she actually had decent conversation, she was a Maverick fan like I am. After chatting for a while she actually bought a round of shots for us as we got to know each other better. By that time the ladies started their stage rotation and it was her turn next to be on stage. The first song the girls perform with their tops on and the next song they remove them. I tipped B on stage and decided to leave after that.

I think Babes is a pretty decent club if you have to be in Central Texas area but I would not go out of my way to go. I think it actually offers excellent value Mon-Weds because the cover is only 5 dollars and the cheap beers and shots before 9:00 pm. The next time I am in the area if I do not have anything going on I probably will stop by.
