Dead Visit

The wife and I decided that we wanted to try something different and this place had some decent but old reviews so we stopped by last Sat night. When we got there we thought something was wrong because there were like 3 cars in the lot and two guys propping up the wall outside. Then one person went inside so we did too. Got frisked and relieved of $5 then headed to that bar. I believe that we were the only customers in the place. While we were getting our drinks the doorman came over to the bar as well (no one else to let in) so I tipped him a buck and thanked him for groping me. We both got a chuckle and had some small talk. Apparently this place doesn't get cranked up until midnight. the wifey and I are (comparatively speaking) old and about as white as they come so we felt like we stood out. Not that anyone was rude to us, quite the opposite in fact. Everyone that we dealt with was very nice and cordial even while groping us. While we were there we saw 3 girls who were probably dancers and who each spent a few minutes on the side stage dressed. One dancer came over, introduced herself and gave me the dime tour of the VIP and bottle service areas. The private bottle service area was about half full of construction debris when we looked. At about 9:30 the cleaning guy came out and started mopping the main stage, the wife and I just looked at one another like WTF? Guess nothing's going to happen for quite some time. That, along with the constant rap/hip hop, made us split for another venue. In summary, the club is physically run down, the people who work there are nice, nothing happening until late and music that we aren't into means that we probably won't be back.
