North Dallas

We have a big project going so I was meeting with our service providers in Texas. This gave me the opportunity to try some clubs out of normal area. This area of Dallas smelled vaguely of shit. Maybe there were horses nearby. However I cannot hold this against the club, even though it seemed like I could smell the odor inside as well a few times. The club was upscale but it did not have mandatory valet, which is good. The bar staff were good and attentive. The alcohol cost was better than expected. The club was clean with a good ambiance.

The dancers were decent but it was toward the end of night so it seemed low energy. It seemed like most Texas clubs I went to died down before closing. They have private lap dance areas if that is your thing. This was a high end club which Dallas does well, and what I understand they do low end clubs well also. But many times I prefer middle of the road because it is better value. The club played dance and techno. I am not against country music, but I am not sure I want to hear it at the strip club. Overall this is a serviceable which maybe get better because I was there at an off peak time. I would need another visit to make a final call.
