Nothing like a hole in the wall
I went to the club on a Friday with my boy, after a tour of other clubs. Free Chinese food Friday's and Saturdays (I was there when the food came... Sooooo good). Typical NYC bs at the other clubs.... Pricey cover charges. High priced dances. No champagne rooms. Etc.
When I got here, I noticed that the club was way more run down looking than the other clubs. The dancers were mediocre, with a few standouts. It seemed that as the night progressed, the ladies got better and better the later it got. I asked about the dance prices and it was $20, with an additional $10 per the house. Screw that.
But I noticed that a lot of dancers were dancing at the bar. Apparently, they danced for tips. So, as long as you are tipping less than $29 a song, you are winning. Basically, add a one periodically and the girl keeps dancing. Not a bad deal. There were a couple songs where I was so entranced that I forgot to tip. So this format of dancing is a lot better than the official dances, economically.
