First Visit

I stopped into H8N for a first time ever visit last month while on a business trip to Detroit. I had read numerous reviews of this club and thought I would check out the local talent. After entering the building I was stopped for a $5 cover charge and then wandered up to the bar and took a seat where I could view then entire club. It is a smaller club than I was expecting.....featuring 3 small stages where the various dancers would circulate to for a 3 song set for your enjoyment. After ordering a drink at the bar ($6.50) I was joined by one dancer for a few minutes conversation.....then she moved on and the pattern repeated itself.

Several of the dancers asked if it was my first time there.....and I told them it was, just to see where the pricing would be. Most did not make any secret of the fact that there was great fun to be had in the private dance area for "around $$". I told them I was chilling and watching this particular evening. I did see a few girls with whom I though it would be fun for a backroom visit......but also several that I would have no interest in do so (like just about any other club).

My overall impression was that it is kind of a dive bar as many others have stated......but I can of like that type of club. There were a number of people smoking, so you are going to smell of that when you leave......but it can still be a lot of fun. I plan to return here during my next trip to Detroit after the first of the year.......and then try out the private dance area!
