This place is for flirting, not mileage

Look, I've lived in the District of Columbia for 13 years. And I know better than to spend any serious money in any of our clubs, no matter the reputation or ambiance or dancer quality, because our rules simply don't allow for anything exciting.

Instead, I noticed a firm little number called Natasha. She was well-spoken, and claimed to be one of the dancers who's "actually" paying her way through school. I'd buy it; she could hold a conversation better than I probably could as a sophomore in college. Something about GW, I think. It wasn't Georgetown.

Anyhoo, that's the kind of reason, you'd walk into a place like this in DC. No cover, nice enough girls, only slightly overpriced drinks. It's alright if you only plan to kill a half hour before heading off to meet friends, as I was. I'd never, ever spend an entire night in a DC strip club, though. You can't pass off the value of casual conversation to the tune of hundreds of dollars down the drain. But it 30 bucks goes by the boards? So be it.
