Good but not great

TL;DR: Experience was fine, but I guess I expected a little more from a strip club city as famous as Portland.

Came here on a Saturday evening with my wife and it was completely dead at first. Maybe because it was raining and maybe because it was early (like around 8) but still. The main room is fairly small. There's a ground-level stage in the center and booths surrounding it with a bar in the corner. The whole setup is fine but not really plush or fancy - definitely not the Penthouse approach. A few girls sitting in the corner looking bored, which is never encouraging. We stayed for two very unappealing main dances and figured we should leave so my wife goes to cash us out at the bar. At which point one of the dancers takes a liking to her and convinces us to stay for her dance. I don't remember her name - blonde, good body, so-so face. We were sitting pretty close to the stage and were one of the few customers there, so that was fun. She pushed aside our drinks at one point and was basically dancing on our table, which was impressive since the table was pretty small and rickety.

So we took her back to the private dance area for half an hour. It's one of the setups with a bunch of private spaces facing outward with a curtain that you can draw for privacy. Easy fit for three people. She made a point to tell us her rules at the beginning - I think she was worried we would be aggressive - but then seemed to not actually care about them as we went on, encouraging a lot of participation from both of us. So that was great.
