L&L – Gastonia on a Saturday Night

In the area on business, I dropped by L&L – Gastonia on Saturday night. With a membership already established I paid a $10 cover to enter. Upon being buzzed in I made my way to the bar for a Diet Coke ($2) and to watch some of the Clemson / UNC football game. The bartender was the most attractive women in the club.

In general I like by L&L – Gastonia as it’s inexpensive, laid-back, and while the dancers are not super attractive they are friendly. The club is located in a Gastonia industrial area and one feels safe in the area even with cash in pocket.

Sitting at the bar I was approached by a dancer and we talked briefly. Seeing that I was more interested in the football game then her she gave me my space. I got into a football conversation with another customer sitting at the bar and also primarily interested in the game.

Around half-time of the football game I made my way to the stage area to do some tipping and to catch a couple of topless $5 lap dances. Despite my tipping efforts the more attractive dancers went back to their regulars after their stage dancing set.

My waitress did tell me she was allowed to do $20 VIP dances within the designated area. I strongly considered this as she was friendly and a bit touchy and hands-on. I counted 8 dancers ranging from a couple of 7’s on the high end to a couple of 5’s on the lower end.
