Long Layover at LAX

Reading the reviews, and having a night at the LAX airport, I chose Jet Strip overBare Eelegance. I probably however made a mistake, but at my hotel there were lots of guys wearing toga, or even drag, which is not interesting to me and I felt a need to get out.

It was Halloween and Saturday night combined. First the walk from the hotel. It is in a tough neighborhood, I walked the nearly 2 miles from the hotel, and also walked back after midnight. I did not feel uncomfortable as there were people of all ages around and lots of car traffic. They had lots of fairly impressive decorations in the club, large skull structures, but not overdone. Apparently they had had their party bash a few days before and it had been a great event. This evening there were as many as 40 patrons and 10-12 dances. About half Latina and half white. The customers were a mix. Everyone was nice.

The dances were quoted to me as $30 topless, $40 nude. Entrance was $20 and the attendant asked for a tip. The drinks were $6.25. They frequently offered two for one on the dances. No one offered me 3 for $100 or a $20. Then there were two kinds of special VIP – one was quoted at 15 min for $65 by a new girl who had been there for only a month, and $125 by another. I don’t think anyone did it so I doubt it was $65. Then there is a more secluded VIP, closed door and large room, for 30 min. Not sure the price, I think $250 for 30 min. For the regular dances there is a large room with booths on two sides and about 5 cubbies each. One wall of cubbies look at the other. Sometimes they didn’t close the curtain. So it could get crowded.
