Was in new york for work and was out in midtown for drinks--at at least two bars we were at the bat tender gave us free passes to spahhires---so observation number one--you do not have to pay to get in this club (entry passes are everywhere you look in nearby bars and restaurants. I guess this is pretty effective marketing since it got us to change plans and go. Once we got there--probably about midnight on a thursday--it was pretty busy. Had been to the ATM on the way so I am not sure how much the in club machine charges. Paid for coat check and then went into the main room. We took a table that emptied out near the stage--waitress said it is a two drink per person minimum for the table--not sure if this is a hard rule but wasnt an issue for us. Drinks were pricey--I think $20 each for a vodka soda--so basically $100 for a round of 4 inclding tip. Lots of girls roaming the floor and appraoching very often but not a hard sell--just the simple want a dance, but not bitchy or pushy. Dances were $20 each and were a quick strip and then a couple of minutes of PG-13 grind, nothing to wild but still enjoyable. Quality of grils was quite high--all fit. Surprising number of american dancers along with the usual eastern europeans. Combining dances in to 2-3-4 dances in a row improved the quality slightly but nothing special. Was offered VIP room of course but it was crazy expensive with usual vague "you wont be sorry" for why its worth it. I left around 3:30 and club was still fairly crowded.
