I made it back to Platinum Plus for the first time in over a year. Not much has changed overall, though one bothersome change when I entered. They now insist that they must see your ID, which they swipe through a reader upon entry. Apparently this policy has been in place for about 9 months. They said it was required by the LCB - I suspect that's just a way to pass blame to someone else, but who knows. Cover is still $5 in the afternoon. A rum & coke was $6.75.

The overall club layout is the same. One large circular stage with four poles is in the center of the large open room. There are two bars, one on each side of the room, through the second bar only gets used at busy times. Smoking is allowed and the place seem to smell more of smoke than I remembered. That could be due to the number of patrons - probably about a dozen on this Friday afternoon. On previous visits on other weekday afternoons the place was usually empty. Maybe business has picked up in the last year or maybe it was due to it being Friday.

The girls - there was a nice mix of shapes, sizes and complexions. It looked like there might have been a dozen girls working. Many were sitting with customers. Girls on stage were only doing one or two songs before they moved on to the next dancer. This often meant the girl didn't ever remove her g-string/thong. That may have also been because not many customers were tipping at the stage. That's typical of this club. When it's not busy customers sit back and wait for the girls to come hang out with them at their table.

Lap dances in the semi-private back room can be good fun here, though the price is quite variable and negotiable. The first girl who sat down next to me said she was the best and lowest price in the club. Her initial offer was 5 or 6 nude dances for $100 - not bad if I was in the mood to spend that much. When I asked about one or two dances she quoted 1 for $40 or 2 for $50. The standard rate seems to be $40 per dance, but there are big discounts available for multiples.

I passed on the first girl's offer, but then a very tall, thin and sexy lady came and sat on my lap. She didn't chat much, but right away offered a table dance sample for a couple of bucks. For a couple of minutes she flashed her tits, gave a nice view of the kitty from behind and easily convinced me to do a private with her. Her quoted price for nude dances was $40 for 1, $80 for 2 or $100 for 3 - but she was wiling to "work with me" as she put it. I suggested 2 for $50 and off we went.
