I love this place!

On my first business trip to Ft. Lauderdale, I could not decide where I wanted to go. Based on reviews, but also proximity to my hotel, I chose Pure Platinum and Solid Gold. Unfortunately, Pure Platinum was not open at 2PM or 3PM, so I drive up the road to Solid Gold. The main entrance takes you straight to the valet station. I did not stop, drove straight past the guy to the next cross street, turned left and drove into the parking lot between the club and a bank to park myself. If he saw me self-park, he did not make a big deal of it, opening the door for me and welcoming me to the club.

A pretty but unfriendly girl collected my $5 cover and I walked down a long hallway to the club. Past the hallway, the club is very dark and your eyes need time to adjust from the Florida afternoon sun. I saw one wall behind which were the VIP booths, and section of semi-enclosed cubicles which were the lap dance booths. The main area is huge. A large free-standing fully stocked bar stands to the left of the hallway when you enter, and down some steps are a big main stage, many tables and chairs, and a couple of smaller stages including a piano stage. There was a small roped off second story which I assume to have been for bottle service or private parties.

Girls wear evening gowns - some more revealing than others- and dance three songs. The first is in the gown, the second is stripped down to their panties, and the third is fully nude. Table dances and lap dances were panties only, but a good way to decide who you would want to get a lap dance from. I paused at the stairs next to the bar for my eyes to adjust. A girl, (a 7) next to me asked how I was, and laughed saying that I just got in and need my eyes to adjust. I found a table with two chairs near the piano stage that allowed me to see all the girls on the stage, girls coming out of the back, and most other goings on. A manager came over to check on me and the sent the waitress. Beer is $7. Afternoon girls are overall 7-8. Girls are by and large skinny spinner types and cover the AA, White, and Latina categories. Sadly, I saw no Asians. Girls stop by to chat, leave if you tell them not right now, or stay to talk in depth before asking if you would like a dance. There was one skinny brunette who said nothing, but walked up behind me and just played with my hair. She must have been rolling. She just played with my hair for 15 minutes saying nothing until I struck up conversation with her. She tried to dance, but was too high to do very well. I enjoyed the afternoon girls - mostly pretty, friendly, willing to talk or dance, and high mileage. One girl warned me that VIP was too dark and uncomfortable for the fun she wanted and gave me an OTC offer.

As day turned into afternoon and night, more and hotter girls showed up, especially the Latinas and Cubans in particular. The language barrier started becoming a problem. The Cubanas really pushed the VIP with promises of daty and bj. An athletic blonde with bolt-ons began her shift. After a couple of table dances I took her to the lap dance. All the lap dances from all girls are high mileage with lots of mutual touching except for their panty area. Most girls will tell you, if your fingers move there, that you need to take them to the VIP for that. It was getting late, and I was ready to end my night, but the athletic blonde was spending all her time with an elderly guy - maybe a regular? A new Latina danced on stage, she had a slim figure - not as athletic as the blonde but well-toned and still hot. The night shift has more 9s and 10s than the afternoon, but a lot of less attractive girls, too. The Latina came over after her stage dances and we went to the lap dance area. After some very sexy lap dances we went VIP. I was pretty drunk, but I think it was $200 total for a half-hour. The VIP area was dark as hell. I could not see this hot girl I had brought back there. I did see the ring of lights that indicate an IR camera. There is a curtain in front of the booth, and a hard uncomfortable bench. She went straight to work with a cbj, cfs, and finished me off with a chj. It was a let down. Rushed, all business and very impersonal; and as I mentioned, I couldn't see her. I spent 8 or 9 hours at Solid Gold, spent way too much money; and despite the small letdown at the end of the night, I have every intention of returning.
