Slow day?
I walked in and sat for a few minutes in what seemed like an entirely empty club, save for a few regulars (or so it seemed). Finally got some attention from an attractive, athletic-looking dancer, but the attention was, let's say, peculiar. She was very chatty, but I have to say she did not smell very good. First time I've ever just been turned off by a smell (which by saying so you can guess that I'm not turned off by much). We had a few dances, I finished my drink--and nobody asked if I wanted another--and split. She mentioned that the VIP is a lot of fun, but I didnt trust it, and at that point I didn't want it. The club has a neighborhood feel, if you like that kind of thing. The dancer was very clear that the bouncer was very attentive and very conservative. That is, I was not to let my hands roam, and she would do likewise. It seemed a little excessive on a slow afternoon on the main floor, but apparently they want to cultivate the "you're being watched" feeling.
