Bad Neighborhood Nice Club

Driving to the PHC is intimidating. It's located near Kensington, which apparently is a drug dealing mecca in the city. Fortunately, it's not too far off from the freeway and it's in an industrial area away from the locals. PHC charges $10 for valet parking or you can park on the street out in front. It's ironic that the most exclusive club in Philly is located in the worst area. Cover was $20 on a fight night and drinks were $7. Saturday evening is slow until about 10 or 11. There are some very attractive girls as well as shot girls and waitresses. Girls are generally friendly, but there is some hustle to buy drinks for them. Later in the evening, dancers stay on one of the many side stages for a half dozen or so songs. The main stage is a runway with two poles and two suspended motorcycles. After that the girls go to the bar or one of the side stages where the couches are to dance. Lap dances are done upstairs in little booths with curtains half-way shut. You must prepay for the $30 dances. You are supposed to get four and a half minutes for each $30 rather than by song. Supposedly, they time everyone's dances, but I'm not convinced how accurate this method is. Dances are good quality with two-way contact. There's also a VIP for $300 for 30 minutes. I did not try this since mathematically it's not a good deal. Overall, despite the expense and the crummy neighborhood, this is probably the city's best club.
