I stopped here for the first time on a Tuesday night around 7 – my first time ever in a Durham NC club. (Thee Doll House is my usual hangout.) Atmosphere was great for a neighborhood bar – clean, carpeted, and very pleasant staff. Drinks are reasonable and the beer selection was better than some of the local clubs. There is a large stage with 2 poles and seating for about 50. The club opens at 4 pm and dancers start at 6 pm. There were very few customers and only one dancer when I arrived around 7 pm. One additional dancer showed up about 8 pm. The DJs were willing to play anything the few customers wanted so C&W was the choice. The one on-time dancer, Jewel, liked the country music and was a good dancer. Her $25 upstairs dance was well worth the time and $ for me, but the rest of the customers were without the eye candy until she got back. The club needs more dancers but really just a good old place and I am sure I will be back often.
