Not bad for the money

As visitor from the US, I've been looking forward to the land of the $7 lap dance (factoring the exchange rate) and while Club Downtown didn't disappoint, it wasn't life altering either. We arrived around 10pm on Saturday Night after a Canadiens game and the club was pretty busy. We paid for an upgraded table and bottle service. As the regular drinks were overpriced, the bottle service was a good deal. The private table not so much. Not enough room for the girls and out of the flow.

There were quite a few dancers, but most were 6s and 7s, with really only 1 or 2 8-9s. Those were in demand. There were two strange girls walking around offering a girl/girl show where one puts her fingers in the other's ass. We weren't really in the mood for that. Very little happens at the tables. All of the action is in the private booths near the front of the house. Annoyingly you have to pay the doorman $5 EACH TIME you bring a girl back there. It's C$10 per dance and the songs are pretty short, so make sure you make it clear how many you want in advance. Mileage varied quite a bit with the 6-8 different girls I had back in the room. All were fully nude and there was some decent grinding and motorboating available. Nothing too intense though as it seemed like they were trying to make up for the low price with volume. They do offer half hours in the room for $60 or $80 (I forget) and in retrospect that is the value play once you find a girl with whom you connect. I asked a few girls about take out and was told it wasn't that kind of place. Surprising given the relatively lax environment that is Montreal.

In sum, hard to beat full nude, full contact for $7 US, but will likely try other places next time I venture north.
