DJV in sac

I stopped by on a Friday evening to see how things roll in Sacramento. The club is in Rancho Cordova which is part of the Sacramento metro area. The club is in a stand alone building in a light industrial area. There is plenty of parking around the building and security didn't seem to be a big concern. Inside you pay a $20 cover to the door guy. Coupons for reduced admission are available in the local free weekly. Admission includes free soft drinks and such. A couple of waitresses circulate to keep your glass filled up. They will also stop by and ask if you want to buy the lady a drink if a girl is at your table. I believe this drink costs $10 but I'm not sure as I always passed on the option. The club has a single stage with two poles in the center of the medium sized room. The the doorway to the lap dance room is found along the back wall.

Numerous ladies were here on this night. In general they were a bit thicker and a bit less toned than you will see in a top tier club. You can still find a few gems in the crowd though and most patrons should be able find someone to suit their tastes. Lap dances are all in the back. The VIP room is filled with various sized booths, with the larger ones costing more. Dances start at $20 not counting the occasional special such as 2 for 1 or 3 for 2. Dances aren't per song here. As at many DJV you money goes into a machine which then gives you a set amount of time in the booth. It is a bit mechanical but does avoid problems with miscounted songs or cutting songs short. I tried a couple of girls in the back and got some solid 2 way contact both times.

Nothing at the club really knocks your socks off. It has a typical club atmosphere, some decent looking if not always spectacular dancers and prices typical for the industry. DJV is a chain and might be described as the McStrippers of the industry. Corporate control may be keeping things from reaching top leaves of clubs but it is what it is.
