A Few Hits, A Lot of Misses

I've cautiously worked Silk back into my regular rotation of clubs, mostly because of one dancer I've kind of become enamored with. I'll try not to focus on her, however, as A) She's very much a type you're either into or not, and B) She tends to be the exception at the place.

If you haven't been to Silk in some time, you'll notice some changes. First off, the place now has a giant screen behind the stage and they play music videos rather than just music. I like this because the dancers on stage sometimes aren't worth looking at, but sometimes the women in the videos makes up for it. Nonetheless, the music is fairly common club fare and loud, so yeah, you get what you expect.

Three bars: One you see when you first come in, which is where the dancers usually circulate for their "tip walk" after they get done with their stage show. Avoid that bar and you can usually avoid the tip walk, but note that the better dancers also seem to circulate there because they figure that's where the guys with money sit if they're not in the crowd. One in the back and, as I understand it, is kind of considered to be the "perv bar" because guys back there often nurse their drinks, hide from the rest of the crowd and only get visits from the desperate dancers. One upstairs in the VIP area that often isn't open if there isn't anyone in VIP.
