Gritty ...

You get what you pay for. I'm a chick who enjoys going to strip clubs. I went with my guy to Dolly's for the first time last night, and we just walked in. There was no one at the door to collect a cover, or possibly because I'm a woman, they overlooked us, I don't know. I had a Jim Beam and coke that was super strong, ($6, and probably the best part of the visit) and sat down to watch the action. Normal looking ladies with average to on-the-downhill-slide bodies, but what really bothered me was the atmosphere. It was so lackluster in there, there was absolutely no energy, and I was ready to gulp my drink and head out pretty quickly. Dancers put their own music on from the jukebox, and took their sweet time taking the stage. One dancer spent literally half her time on a side stage squatted at the edge checking her phone, and when she did "dance", she didn't remove anything, and barely moved. She looked like she couldn't care less about being there. ...So, the reason we ended up there is because my guy used to frequent the place. He said, and I don't have any kind of problem with it, that there's action-for-cash in the private booths, and he used to get head for about $40 from one of a few favorite dancers at the time, a few years ago. It certainly looks and feels like that kind of place, and again, no judgement, places like this exist for a reason. It's just not a female-friendly or couple-friendly place.
