It is not esasy to rate DC clubs -- there are no private dances and contact is prohibited. But, by any standard, this club is overrated. There are two floors. Downstairs is a narrow, crowded room with dancers on one or two small stages and small tables lining the two long walls. Upstairs is roomier, with one large stage that often has two dancers. And there are some tables that face the stage. On a recent Thursday evening, I stopped by at about 10 and stayed for about two hours. I was upstairs, where the action is generally better. I tipped the guy who seats you $10 and got a prime seat, facing the stage. I probably saw about 12 or 15 different dancers. I would say that only 2 were very good looking. Many of the others were overweight, and most were just plain, even with their clothes off. Most had tatoos in the small of their back and elsewhere -- which does not bother me, but may put some people off. And they generally were not very friendly, even in response to good tips. While they do get nude, they generally do a fairly stiff form of dancing, not very hot and not very erotic. No kitty displays. If you want hotter dancers, go to Good Guys. And if you want better eye candy, go to Archibalds.
