Nice but not worth the extra $

Atlantis is one of the more upscale clubs in the Chicago area. I hadn't been there for 3 years and was anxious to see if any acquaintances still worked there. Unfortunately, the only people I new were the manager and bar tender. I knew most of the dancers 3 years ago but it appears there has been a significant turnover. I questioned the bar tender about the night dancers I knew and they were no longer there. I did try dances with a couple of different girls but I was disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm and limited contact. Three years ago there was significant two way contact with dancers but now it was extremely tame. I asked one of the dancers about it and they said that management has limited what they can do. They watch the dancers via cameras in the booths and let you know if you cross their line. Of course they don't tell you where they draw that line. I was reprimanded for touching the dancer above the waist by the person watching the monitor. The venue is excellent but their policies concerning dances at a cost of $30 each means I won't return.
