Good club for what it is

This place is so much better than it was a few years back. There are always dancers, at least a few of whom are attractive, the staff is friendly and attentive, the drinks are reasonably priced and, if you are so inclined, you can get some decent food most nights. Kind of weird but a club that has always been thought of as a trashy roadhouse is fairly clean and comfortable. The girls rarely get nude on stage and sometimes (if no one is tipping) don't do much of anything but they are nice enough when you tip them and most will stop by your table and see if you are interested in chatting or getting a few dances. I'm sure they charge a cover on the weekend, at least later in the evening, but I haven't been charged one for quite a while. As with most Lawrence clubs, I doubt anything "illegal" is going on here, I think you can have a pretty good time if you are willing to spend some money.
