Update: not all change is for the better.
This club has recently been rebranded as Scores Queens.
Nothing of the physical club has changed. The entrance leads to the bar behind which is a tiny stage, and a second, longer stage occupies the center of the room. Dance rooms are in the back. The only visible changes are in the signage now saying "Scores" instead of NYC Gentlemen's Club".
I asked the bartender (whom I recognized from before) about the change, and she said that the ownership is the same, but that some of the dancers have changed, and that the club was actively looking for "a different kind" of dancer. Since this was a guaranteed extras spot previously, I wasn't overjoyed to hear this tidbit. There were three dancers on shift on this afternoon: one lovely black girl who seemed to belong in a nicer club, one young, skinny black dancer with buck teeth and glasses but a nice, tight figure, and one cute, well-endowed, almost chubby white girl covered in tattoos (including neck and face).
